12:00pm: The Winnipeg Jets management and scouting staff loaded the bus for the Prudential Center for the big day. You could feel the excitement building as we hit the road for a very busy but exciting day for everyone. Jets General Manager, Kevin Cheveldayoff said a few words at the front of the bus thanking all of his staff for the hard work this year and of course the best of luck today.
Once we arrived at the Prudential Center, we got our bearings and found our seats at the top of the lower bowl, with a great view of the entire draft floor and a perfect view of the Winnipeg Jets table.
2:00pm: One hour to go! Stay tuned throughout the day as Jets TV will keep you in the loop as the event unfolds. We will be providing you with exclusive interviews with all of our draft picks who are in the building. We will also be following our first round draft pick behind the scenes and posting some very cool photos and video, so don't miss it!
Saturday was a an eventful day that started off with hearing from Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff as he addressed the media at the hotel in Jersey City.

After the scrum diminished, we jumped in a cab with the camera and hit the road to Manhattan where head coach Claude Noel and his coaching staff were attending a coaching conference. We caught up with Assistant Coach, Pascal Vincent- twice! Once en Francais (for you francophones out there) and once in English.
With the day quickly getting away from us, we realized that a few of the top prospects were putting on an on-ice hockey clinic at the New Jersey Devils practice facility located beside the Prudential Center all the way over in Newark, New Jersey. So we hailed a cab and away we went to talk to the top prospects.
The top four ranked prospects were on the ice with a handful of NJ Devils alumni and a few young hockey players. They ran some fun drills and shared some laughs with the kids. Once the clinic wrapped up, the prospects were then introduced to Buddy from The Cake Boss TV show.
For those who are unfamiliar, Buddy is quite the celebrity here in New Jersey. The hit TLC TV show is shot here in New Jersey and saw the opportunity to film an episode right there on the ice with the top prospects. The players welcomed the 15 minutes of fame with open arms.
Greeting from New Jersey! Our Jets TV crew arrived in Newark, NJ late Thursday afternoon and made our way to the hotel in Jersey City.
Things got started early on Friday morning with a little sneak peak into the war-room with Jets Executive Vice President & General Manager, Kevin Cheveldayoff, Senior Vice President & Director Hockey Operations/Assistant General Manager Craig Heisinger and of course all of the scouting staff. Talk about being a lucky fly on the wall! We got some great footage and photos from the room and were able to steal a few minutes of Chevy's time for a one-on-one exclusive.

We also spoke with Director of Amateur Scouting, Marcel Comeau to hear his thoughts on the draft and how things were going in the meetings.
Later in the afternoon, we headed over to the media and prospect luncheon which was right on the harbor in New Jersey right on the Hudson River with the beautiful Manhattan skyline in the background.
We talked to a few of the top prospects after the lunch about how their experience has been so far and just how surreal this entire process must be for them.
It was a scorching 90+ degrees Fahrenheit outside with an insane percentage of humidity but all in all, it was a fabulous afternoon.
