Canada wrapped up their final round-robin game in fashion Tuesday morning as they routed Belarus 5-1, to finish in first place in Group A. They will now face the fourth-place team in the quarter-final game. The fourth-place team is Slovakia who defeated France today to bump them out of the tournament.

Canada was off to a quick start just 2:16 into the game when Andrew Ladd sent a perfect pass onto the tape of Colorado Avalanche forward Ryan O'Reilly, who converted for a 1-0 Canada lead. Ladd added his second assist of the game as he connected with O'Reilly again who tapped the puck into the Belarus net to make it 5-1. Through seven games, Ladd now has one goal and three assists and has a plus-6.

Evander Kane picked up an assist on Canada's third goal of the day as he found Ryan Getzlaf who finished the play. Kane has three goals and three assists and is a plus-6 through seven games so far in the tournament.
