Jets agree to terms with Ivan Telegin

Telegin, 19, has played the last two seasons with the Ontario Hockey League’s Saginaw Spirit scoring 105 points (46g, 59a) and collecting 55 penalty minutes in 110 games played. The native of Novokuznetsk, Russia finished the 2010-11 season fourth on the Spirit in scoring with 61 points (20g, 41a) in 59 games. He also helped the Spirit reach the second round of the OHL playoffs scoring 10 points (2g, 8a) in 12 postseason games. Telegin competed for Russia at the 2010 World Junior Hockey Championships in Saskatoon and Regina, SK.
Telegin was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the fourth round, 101st overall, in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
