The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club is pleased to announce details surrounding pre & post-game activities for their inaugural game on Sunday, October 9th against the Montreal Canadiens at MTS Centre.
 
With the excitement and anticipation building, the hockey club wants to provide an environment for all fans to enjoy the inaugural game, whether they are inside the MTS Centre or not.
 
Fans not attending the Home Opener at MTS Centre will be able to watch a free CBC telecast of the inaugural game at The Forks. This family-friendly event will start at noon, with live-entertainment on the Scotiabank Stage followed by the CBC broadcast of the game starting at 3:00 p.m.
 
The post-game festivities will be highlighted by The Official Winnipeg Jets Inaugural Game After Burner Social at the Convention Centre. Doors for the event open at 2:30 p.m. and the room will be equipped with four large screens. Following the game, the Convention Centre will host an 18+ event with entertainment from Blue Rodeo and Special Guests.
 
Tickets for The Official Winnipeg Jets Inaugural Game After Burner Social are available immediately for season ticket holders and waiting list members. All tickets are $35.00 (plus fees) at Ticketmaster.
