The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club is pleased to announce in addition to their first annual Winnipeg Jets Skills Competition, presented by Home Depot, the team will now conduct an Open Practice prior to the event on Tuesday, November 15, 2011.
 
The open practice will get underway at 5:30pm at MTS Centre, just after doors open for the Skills Competition. Jets fans will also be able to listen in as Jets Head Coach Claude Noel puts his team through their paces as he will be mic’d up for the practice.
 
The Skills Competition will start at 7:00 pm and will feature five events including the Fastest Skater, the Hardest Shot, the Accuracy Shooting competition, the Puck Control Relay and a Breakaway Competition. The Jets would like to thank The Hockey Centre and the staff at Focus Fitness who will assist in execution of the various events.
 
Proceeds from the Skills Competition will benefit the Winnipeg Jets True North Foundation and the NHLPA Goals and Dreams Fund.

The open practice will be included in the price of the Skills Competition. Tickets are still available for $17.50 and $12.50, plus service charges. All seats are reserved. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.ca or charge-by-phone at 1-855-985-5000.
