PrintThe St. John’s IceCaps today announced they have recalled forward Mike Forney from the Colorado Eagles of the ECHL.
Forney, 23, has played in 44 games with the Colorado Eagles so far this season. In that time, the Thief River Falls, MN native has collected 37 points (13g, 24a) and 47 penalty minutes. The left-winger has played in 12 career AHL games with the Chicago Wolves recording two assists.
He was originally drafted in the third round by Atlanta, 80th overall, in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
