Jets recall Patrice Cormier from IceCaps
The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have recalled forward Patrice Cormier from the St. John’s IceCaps of the American Hockey League.
Cormier, 21, has played in 54 games this season with the St. John’s IceCaps. In that time, the left-handed centre has recorded 31 points (17G, 14A) and 71 penalty minutes. He has also played in six games with the Jets this campaign. The Moncton, NB native has played in 27 career NHL games between Atlanta and Winnipeg for a career total two points (1G, 1A) and four penalty minutes.
He was originally drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the second round, 54th overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
