Plays of the Year Round 2 Update
Round 2 voting of the Winnipeg Jets Plays of the Year Showdown is now complete and the results are in. The decisions are becoming more difficult as we are down to only the remaining few very best plays of the season.
Thanks to all the fans that have voted, your votes really do count, and every last one makes a difference. One match-up was decided by as little as seven votes!
The clear-cut leaders at this point seem to be the February 21st save by Ondrej Pavelec against the Flyers, the March 1 5-on-1 goal finished by Bryan Little, or the Chris Thorburn toe-drag (or faux-drag). Nothing has been decided yet, and voting in Round 3 will take place over the next four days. We will announce the final four Plays of the Year and open up voting in Round 4 on Tuesday, May 22.
Be sure to keep visiting www.winnipegjets.com every day to see the newest match-up and to cast your vote. Your support is appreciated, and don't forget about the incredible Jets Gear prizes will be given away (third round prize is another $250 Jets Gear gift card).
After the two rounds there have been over 15,000 votes cast. Take a closer look at some of the results below.
