It was the 10th year of the Flatlander’s Beer Festival on September 13-14th, at the Winnipeg Convention Centre. Hundreds of beer enthusiasts and Winnipeg Jets True North Foundation supporters, piled into the Convention Centre to sample the 123 available beers from 41 different booths.

A few breweries that participated in the event from across Canada included: Tree Brewing, Okanagan Springs and Granville Island, from British Columbia, Big Rock from Alberta, Waterloo and Hockley from Ontario, Fort Garry and Half Pints from Manitoba, Unibroue from Quebec and Garrison Brewing from Nova Scotia.

The festival was a huge success as there was a total of 1627 people that attended over the two nights. There were 621 tickets sold on Thursday night and 1,005 on Friday night. Tickets for Thursday night were $29.95 and $34.95 for Friday.

100% of the proceeds raised from the Flatlander's Beer Festival went directly to the Winnipeg Jets True North Foundation.
