The St. John’s IceCaps, proud affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets, are pleased to announce their training camp roster and schedule.

The IceCaps will convene in Corner Brook, NL, as of Oct. 1 and run their training camp out of the Pepsi Centre. In addition to training sessions and a pair of intra-squad scrimmages, the IceCaps will participate in a three-game exhibition series called the Mary Brown’s Cup, with the Syracuse Crunch.

Games are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 4 at the Pepsi Centre in Corner Brook, Friday, Oct. 5 at the Stephenville Dome and Sunday, Oct. 7 at the Clarenville Events Centre.

Training camp opens Monday, Oct. 1 with physicals and fitness testing, before the team takes to the ice for its first official practice Monday afternoon. A total of 40 players have been invited to camp, and the club will be split into two training groups.

Players invited to camp include goaltenders Chris Carrozzi, Mark Dekanich, Eddie Pasquale and Tyler Plante.

Defencemen invited are Dean Arsene, Ben Chiarot, Ryan Donald, Chris Huxley, Jake Marto, Derek Meech, Julian Melchiori, Will O’Neill, Paul Postma, Travis Ramsey, Zach Redmond and Cody Sol.

Forwards attending include John Albert, Alex Burmistrov, Kevin Clark, Patrice Cormier, Norm Ezekiel, Aaron Gagnon, Jason Gregoire, Brayden Irwin, Jason Jaffray, Ray Kaunisto, Jason King, Carl Klingberg, Josh Lunden, Maxime Macenauer, Spencer Machacek, Ben Maxwell, Eric O’Dell, Ray Sawada, Ryan Schnell, Joey Sides, Brian Sutherby, Ivan Telegin, Hunter Tremblay and Derek Whitmore.
