True North Sports & Entertainment Limited and MTS are improving Winnipeg Jets™ fans’ experience for the start of the 2013 NHL season with world-class technology. Following the success of last season’s launch of the Winnipeg Jets Mobile app, fans at home now have access to Jets’ content on their television through the Winnipeg Jets On Demand app for TV.

MTS will once again offer the TSN Jets channel at $9.95 per month, and in partnership with True North, have launched this new television app exclusively available for MTS Ultimate TV subscribers. First of its kind among North American sports franchises, the Winnipeg Jets On Demand app for TV gives Jets fans another way to stay connected to their favourite team. With a few clicks of an MTS remote, viewers can access team and league stats and standings, check game summaries and schedules, watch video content, and get near real-time game updates. The free app can be found at MTS Centre On Demand on channel 86 of the MTS Ultimate TV service. A subscription to MTS high-speed Internet is required.
