Jets recall Eddie Pasquale from IceCaps
The Winnipeg Jets announced today they have recalled goaltender Eddie Pasquale from the St. John’s IceCaps of the American Hockey League.
Pasquale, 22, has played in 40 games for the IceCaps so far this season. In that time, the Toronto, ON netminder has earned a 14-21-4 record, 2.69 goals against average and 0.909 save percentage. This is his second recall with the Winnipeg Jets this season, the first occurring on Feb. 13/13.
During the 2011-12 season, Pasquale played in 38 games for the IceCaps accumulating a 23-12-1 record, 2.41 goals against average and 0.911 save percentage. As a result, he was named to the AHL All-Rookie Team and was selected as the IceCaps Top Rookie. He was selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the fourth round, 117th overall, in the 2009 NHL Draft.
