FIRST PERIOD

Through 20 minutes, the Sens are up 1-0 on the Jets. Shots on goal were 10-6, also in favour of the Senators.

SECOND PERIOD

0:26: Bobby Ryan adds to the Senators score as he snapped one right over the shoulder of Hutchinson. Erik Karlsson and Milan Michalek pick up the assists on the Sens second goal. 2-0 Sens

Moments later, Anthony Peluso and Michael Sdao dropped the gloves igniting the fans inside the MTS Centre. Peluso landed more than one punch, bringing Sdao to the ice. Each take five for fighting.

After two periods the Jets trailed 2-1 and 25-18 in shots on goal. Defenceman Paul Postma is leading the Jets in ice time with 16:22.

THIRD PERIOD

1:05: Another tough start to the period for the Jets as Milan Michalek widens the gap to 3-1 as he deflected a hard Karlsson point shot.

Time ran out on the Jets as they couldn't find a way to get back in the game and fell to a 3-1 final at the hands of the Senators.

The next preseason game goes Tuesday night as the Jets welcome the Edmonton Oilers to Winnipeg.
