FORWARD NOTABLE: The Jets are set to take on the Edmonton Oilers in their third preseason matchup and second in Winnipeg. Devin Setoguchi will play his first game ever inside the MTS Cente and will join a line with Evander Kane on the other wing and Olli Jokinen in the middle.

"Tonight it'll be Jokinen's first game," said Noel after the morning skate. "And with those guys, I thought they looked good in practice yesterday so we'll see how they do here tonight. I thought they moved the puck well on the power play sp we'll see how they do with Jokinen and take it one day at a time and make the assessment."

BLUELINE: Dustin Byfuglien will get his first game in at the MTS Centre and this morning was skating with Grant Clitsome. Mark Stuart will play with Paul Postma and Jacob Trouba will play with Julien Melchiori.

IN NET: Jets starting goaltender Ondrej Pavelec annoucned that he will get the start in net tonight against the Oilers. Noel commented that the amount of time he plays is dependent on how the game unfolds. He may or may not share duties with Eddie Pasquale as the game goes on.

Noel's Pre-Game Quote

"I'd like us to settle down a bit more and play a more puck controlled and speed game with better support, that would be the big thing.'
