The Jets hit the ice this morning at the MTS Centre before heading off to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to face the Boston Bruins for the second time in as many nights. Tonight marks the finale of the eight-game pre-season for the Jets. After the game, the team will head to Banff, AB for a little bit of team building before the regular season kicks off against the Edmonton Oilers on Oct.1st.

The feeling in the room after the pre-game skate was anxiousness...for the pre-season to be finished and the regular season to begin. Forward James Wright is one player who's looking forward to the game tonight probably more than any other player, as he'll get the chance to return to his hometown of Saskatoon to play infront of family and friends.

UP FRONT: Blake Wheeler was back on the ice today and was not wearing the red jersey however according to Coach Claude Noel, he has a "full-body" injury but will be a game-time decision tonight in Saskatoon. Andrew Ladd and Bryan Little should be back in the the lineup but if Wheeler does not play, who they are teamed up on a line with, is anyone's guess at this point.

The lines from Thursday's game looked like this, so expect a bit of the same with the additions of Ladd and Little on the top line. Two players would then watch from the pressbox to balance out the lines.

BLUELINE: Zach Bogosian was skating with the team today but is still day-to-day and will be a game time decision tonight.

GOALTENDING: Ondrej Pavelec was in the home net tonight however, he did play in last night's game so there is a chance that Al Montoya could start tonight. Claude Noel did not share any secrets of who will actually start, so we'll have to wait until warm-up to confirm.
