Dr. Brandy Ladd O.D, graduated Valedictorian from the New England College of Optometry, Boston. Brandy was born in Grande Prairie Alberta. Her primary education was taken in French Immersion in Red Deer, Alberta. Following High School, she attended Red Deer College for two years prior to completing her BSc degree from the University of Alberta, Edmonton. She currently is practicing Optometry in the city of Winnipeg.

While attending The New England College of Optometry, Dr. Ladd participated in numerous charity endeavors. Her humanitarian efforts in the Dominican Republic proved to be an invaluable experience, both in terms of training and learning how compassionate optometric care can effect lives in remote areas of the world.

Brandy, wife of Winnipeg Jets captain Andrew Ladd, has participated in many charitable events along with the team wives and girlfriends in Chicago, Atlanta and Winnipeg.  Currently, Brandy and Andrew are involved in giving Special Olympic athletes and kids from Winnipeg's Children's Hospital an opportunity to attend Winnipeg Jets hockey games.
